About the bed Hand-made in the UK, with the Colourspring™ slat system for optimum support and correct posture. Suitable for children of all ages, this full length single bed is manufactured in the UK by a specialist children's bed manufacturer with more than 15 years experience.
The Colourspring™ system uses pre-sprung natural beech slats to provide even mattress support. Each of the slats flexes and rocks independently, conforming to the spine's natural resting position - ensuring the perfect posture. The inter-slat ventillation allows the mattress to 'breathe', unlike a solid based bed, which helps to minimize dust accumulation for a healthier sleep (particularly important for those with asthma).
Made from quality timbers, robust composites and laminates, all of the surfaces, edges and feet on these beds are smoothed or feature a tough, scratch resistant colour trim. Only non-toxic paints and varnishes are used.
Supplied fully pre-finished in flatpack form, it can be assembled in a matter of a few minutes. Made to order.
Mattress Option
Requires a standard UK single (6ft3in) mattress. A high quality Vogue mattress may be added to your order. These great open coil mattresses are made in the UK using a hypo-allergenic filling. They are created specifically for children, having the correct spring rating for kids aged up to their early teens.
